3DSIZER TRI-DIMENSIONAL STEREO MEASUREMENT

Tridimensional Stereo Measurement by 3DSIZER

The sophisticated and accurate in-situ metrology technique known as stereo measurement is facilitated through the integration of patented image-splitting optical tip technology and the 3DSIZER algorithm. This innovative technology commonly is operated using the TIVE 900 MK2 unit, which allows the determination of the spatial coordinates of each point on the target by utilizing cursor placement on two separate viewing angles of the target.

The 3DSIZER algorithm enables six distinct measurement modes, including Length, Point to Line, Surface, Depth, Segments Addition, and Perimeter. Each mode is selected on the TIVE 900 MK2 unit, and the measurement process is completed in five steps, beginning with the identification of the target by an ARGUS 900 probe fitted with a vision tip. The stereo vision tip on the ARGUS 900 probe is used to capture a composite image of the target, which is then displayed on the TIVE 900 MK2 unit.

With the target defined through cursor placement on both portions of the composite image displayed on the TIVE 900 MK2 unit, the measured value is displayed on the same unit. Tridimensional Stereo Measurement by 3DSIZER ensures high accuracy, reliability, and efficiency in a wide range of applications.
